Sopwith Coffee Company CIC has evolved from a long-standing commitment to supporting veterans and members of the emergency services. Many will remember us as Veterans Garage, a hugely successful community hub that thrived for years—right up until the Covid outbreak.

Like many hospitality organisations, Covid hit us hard. The sector changed dramatically, footfall changed, and the world was simply not the same afterwards. Despite our success before the pandemic, the business could not recover in its original form.

But instead of stopping, we reinvented ourselves.
We transformed our mission, rebuilt our purpose, and created Sopwith Coffee Company CIC—a modern social enterprise built around community, support, and meaningful employment opportunities for veterans.

We continue our commitment to supporting veterans and emergency services personnel by providing:

To give veterans a real chance at long-term stability, purpose, and financial independence, we have developed a full franchise programme, supported directly from our head office.

We now roast our own Sopwith Coffee, exclusively supplied to all franchisees.

Every veteran or emergency service participant receives:
